The leadership team behind our passionate team of practitioners
Lisa Dick has been a registered nurse for 30 years, specialising in aged care, community health, chronic disease and continence management and an active member of the ANZCCP. During her career Lisa has been honoured to represent The Australian College of Nurse Practitioners as the Victorian Chapter Chair for a 2 years.
Lisa is now working in general practice and specialises in medicinal cannabis.
Alex trained at Chernivtsi State Institute of Medicine in Ukraine, gaining a qualification of Doctor of Medicine in 1993. His goal is to help his patients by practicing Holistic Evidence based Medicine.
Dr Burmey is interested in all aspects of Family Medicine. His other interests include Skin Diseases and men’s health. He has also completed advanced skin training with the Australian Institute of Dermatology.
Alex is a Medicinal Cannabis prescriber for a range of chronic conditions. He is currently involved in QUEST cannabis study, run by Sydney University.
In his spare time he likes to read, ride bicycle and play table tennis with his two sons.
Dr Mei Ling Doery is passionate about ‘thriving lives’ and dedicated to mainstreaming new ideas from the world of health, technology and wellness. Her perspective on modern health challenge is informed by roles as medical advisor for the Department of Veteran Affairs (2016-2018), Australian Defence Force (2007-2009), team doctor for an AFL Football Team (2005-2008), Executive Physician at BUPA Wellness (2012-2014) and Emergency Medicine doctor (2010-2016).
In 2014, Mei was appointed as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in recognition for her contribution to Global Public Health. She has been instrumental to several cutting edge health, policy and advocacy initiatives including as co-founder SugarByHalf, founding Chair of Teach Us Consent, founder of international tobacco control initiative Live Council and innovation advisor to Nightingale Housing.
Mei holds Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, Bachelor of Medical Science and a Masters of Public Health from the University of Melbourne.
Lisa is now working in general practice and specialises in medicinal cannabis.
